Horns blew with thumbs up signs as we hoisted the banner again on Saturday. With another Council crisis looming Al and Ken were called to duty once again. One man stopped his SUV in the middle of Cove Road to give us a "high five". When will we be able to retire this banner? What is going on behind the curtain oh, ye, mighty and powerful oz.

As a long time player of Countryside Golf Club, I would love to see the course continue to operate.
I am a member and walk the course every weekday morning.
The employees deserve to keep their jobs and have job security. The employees do such a great job. The greens keepers are awesome and keep the course in great condition with five full timers and "Ike", a mainstay who grew up on the property before it was a golf course! Hats off to you guys.
Roanoke City, Please keep this golf course alive.
I encourage others to let the City of Roanoke know how they feel about the course.
For the golfers, you know the weekend traffic on all courses around Roanoke and the surrounding area is a full pattern. Do you want to lose a course and make the traffic pattern on other courses even more full?
Save Countryside!!!
Thanks Roanoke City for making the right decision on saving Countryside.
Thanks, Jerome Mullins
